Head of the International relations Department of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University Sergei took part in the final meeting of the consortium of 20 universities of the European Union and the Eastern Partnership.

The event took place from the 21st to the 26th of May in the cities of Kiev and Uman (Ukraine). The meeting was organized within the framework of international projects “EMINENCE” (2012–2016) and “EMINENCE 2” (2013–2017) of the International Academic Mobility Program “ERASMUS MUNDUS”. The organizers of the meeting were the coordinators of the project Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland) and Uman State University named after P. Tychyna (Ukraine). Round tables were held on the theme “Educational and professional development, transfer of knowledge in the Erasmus Mundus program: the perspective of the graduates of the program”. Also, a round table of regional coordinators of the projects “EMINENCE” and “Eminence 2” was organized. During the round tables the issues related to the participation of universities in the mobility organization consortium and the problems with which the universities faced during the implementation of projects were discussed, as well as the issues of further cooperation.

During the project implementation period, 12 students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the Faculty of History and Philology, the Faculty of Primary and Music Education of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University took part in the exchange program and studied during a year at partner universities from Poland, Romania, Sweden, Spain and Portugal. Four students from Adam Mickiewicz University studied at the first and second levels of higher education of the Faculty of History and Philology. It should be noted that the training took place at the expense of the European Union — the travel cost and visa costs were covered by the program, and a scholarship of a thousand Euros per month was paid.

Thanks to the program, I learned a lot of new things, discovered a new world, met amazing people, grew up, became more active, more goal-oriented”, said Ekaterina Dubrovskaya, a participant in the project of exchanges, a student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
